The Bebop stops on Ganymede, Jet's home planet. They are there to turn in a bounty whom they caught between this episode and the last one. Edward is still with them but doesn't play a very big role in this episode. The same can be said about Faye. She catches some rays in a bikini while Spike turns in the bounty and Jet visits an old friend, an old girlfriend, Alisa.
Alisa has a bar, La Fin (The End). Times have changed. She pours Jet a drink. They sit and talk while Rhint, her new boyfriend, goes for a walk.Spike is back at the Bebop when a call comes in for Jet. It is about another bounty: Rhint. Spike goes after Rhint. When Spike catches up to them Rhint and Alisa are on the run in a speed boat. They cross paths with Jet who takes over for Spike.
I really like these episodes that fill in back story. I like the sad melancholy tone. I don't love the ending but I like the way the story is told through visuals and music at least as much as it is told through words. The chase scene is wonderful
