This one was okay. It wasn't awful but some of the jokes fell flat. It is not a favorite of mine.

Matrix Reloaded (2003)

Starring Keanu Reeves, Lawrence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss
Directed by the Wachowskis

I remember really enjoying this movie when I saw it in the theater when it first came out. Watching it now I can see flashes of stuff that I like but the movie as a whole leaves me cold. I tried to watch the scenes that take place in Zion but quickly got bored and wound up fast forwarding through them. The best part of the movie was the 35 minute sequence that begins with the visit to the restaurant and ends with the chase on the highway. I like some of the mythology of the Matrix that is hinted at but in the end it just doesn't work for me.
