Atlanta 2.05

Barbershop

Alfred goes to get his haircut. It takes much longer than anticipated. Bibby, his barber, has too much going on. He gets interrupted in the middle of cutting Alfred's hair. He has to go home to deal with his wife or girlfriend. He talks Alfred into going with him. He tells him that he will cut his hair once they get there. Bibby cuts his son's hair but not Alfred's.

Bibby promises Alfred a meal which turns out to be leftovers from a meal Bibby had. He talks Alfred into helping him move some lumber, which turns out to belong to someone else. Bibby spots his other son playing hooky, while they are driving back to the barbershop. This leads to another diversion. Bibby is so distracted he ends up rear-ending a car that's stopped at a stop sign.

This is without a doubt my favorite episode of the second season, so far. I laughed quite a bit. None of the other main characters are in it.
