Atlanta 2.06

Teddy Perkins

Darius goes to pickup a piano with multi-colored keys that someone offered him. He gets to the house and meets Teddy Perkins. Teddy is strange. The whole episode is strange. It plays like an episode of the Twilight Zone or a horror movie. Things get weirder and weirder as it progresses.

Darius calls Alfred to ask him what he thinks. They talk. Alfred suggests that he forget about the piano and get out of there. Darius decides to stick around. Eventually, after much weirdness and a weird encounter with Benny, Teddy's wheelchair bound brother, Darius gets to see the piano. He finds what looks like a drop of blood on one of the keys. It just gets stranger.

Darius doesn't get the piano in the end but there is more to it than just that. I didn't laugh much during this one. It was intense. I exhaled a big sigh of relief when it was finally over. I kept thinking about Get Out (2017) while watching this.

Alfred and Earn were in this one but only briefly.

These last couple episodes have been a nice break from the downward spiral that Earn's life was in for the previous four.
