GLOW 2.05

Perverts Are People, Too

The show is on the rocks, the show within the show is in danger of getting canceled. A network executive shows an interest in the show but seems to be more interested in scoring with Zoya (Ruth). When he tries she runs off. Debbie isn't very understanding when Ruth tells her about what happened. Sam, Bash, and Debbie were supposed to have a meeting with the same network executive the next day. He cancels the meeting with them and moves the show to 2 AM after Ruth's disappearing act.

Bash goes looking for his butler. Carmen and Rhonda accompany Bash on his quest to find his butler. They go to the one place they know he sometimes hangs out, Shenanigans. It's a bar, populated mostly by men, gay men. Unfortunately Bash's butler isn't there. Bash seems to be very unsure what to make of the club but when he finds out that his butler isn't there he leaves, without Carmen and Rhonda. Bash later goes to his mother's mansion. She isn't home so he talks to her butler. He stays the night in his old room.

Sheila doesn't like all the attention she is getting from fans. She is more or less alone in feeling that way. The women of GLOW put on a publicity event after a wrestling show. It seems to go quite well.

Cherry and Keith talk, in bed. She's a bit mopey. He tries to cheer her up. I'm not sure where this part of the show is going. Is this just the result of what Cherry has been through this season up to this point or is it lead-in to something that I have yet to see? Dunno.

On the whole a very good episode. After a spotlight episode it is nice to see one that isn't quite so focused. I'm still all in on this show. I like all the little developments. I look forward to seeing what comes next and how the characters and the story continue to develop.
