Dee Dee and her friends Mee Mee and Lee Lee decide to play in Dexter's Lab. Dexter, in a moment of desperation clones himself when he feels overwhelmed by Dee Dee and her friends, who soon clone themselves too.

2. A Lab Story

Dexter finds a dog, a Labrador Retriever. It follows him home. He gets tired of its barking and gives it the ability to speak but it doesn't change very much.

3. Changes

Dexter and Dee Dee squabble over a device he created that changes them into different kinds of animals.

Junior (Alec Baldwin) gets the attention of the police after a Hare Krishna is murdered at the airport. Homicide detective Hoke Mosely (Fred Ward) tracks down Junior but underestimates how dangerous he is. Junior puts Mosely in the hospital. He takes Mosely, gun, his badge and his dentures.

Junior starts committing crimes while posing as Mosely. He invests the money he gets committing robberies in a house for himself and his girlfriend, Susan (Jennifer Jason Leight).

Mosely eventually gets out of the hospital, gets himself some new teeth and starts looking for Junior.

or The Stakeout

The communists start to plan how best to hit the Germans. An expert is brought in to help them plan. He is fairly young. It is decided that they should shoot a German officer in front of the German headquarters in Villeneuve. Marcel and Suzanne will pretend to be lovers. They are given the job of staking out the plaza in front of the German headquarters.

Lucienne tells Kurt that she is pregnant. She goes to see a priest who advises her that she must not abort her pregnancy. She is at a loss for what to do. Marie Germain tries to help her out. She brings her to see Madame Morhange. The two women want to help her but DeKervern walks in as they making preparations to help her abort. He goes ballistic and refuses to let them go through with it. There is a new law making abortion illegal and DeKervern is worried about what might happen to himself and Judith if it was discovered that they helped Lucienne abort her pregnancy.

Teen Titans 3.03

Betrothed

The Titans travel to Tamaran, Starfire's home world, for her wedding. It is a surprise to everyone that Starfire is about to get married. Starfire's teammates are also surprised to learn, when they arrive on Tamaran that she is a princess and second in line for the throne of Tamaran.

Blackfire, Starfire's sister, is now Empress of Tamaran. She has picked Starfire's groom, Glgrdsklechhh, the slimy green ruler of Drenthax. Starfire is appalled but feels as though she must go through with the wedding. The Titans snoop around the palace while Starfire is preparing for the ceremony. They find out what Blackfire is really up to but then they get captured by Blackfire's palace guard.

Schitt's Creek 2.03

Jazzagals

Moira auditions to join the Jazzagals, a local women's chorus. Mutt asks David for help with Alexis. David asks Mutt for help with building a cedar chest. Johnny has a chat with Bob about the customers who keep stopping by the garage when Bob isn't around. 

Thoughts

This was an okay episode, nothing special. It wasn't bad, just run of the mill good for this show. I can't tell how much of this will continue into future episodes.

Captain Harlock (1978) 1.32

The Call of the Star Flute

Captain Dainess of the Mazone fleet prepares a trap for the Arcadia on the Wind Planet. The Arcadia receives notice of an advance force of the Mazone fleet that is nearing Earth. Captain Harlock must decide whether to continue the search for Mayu or rush to Earth's defense. He opts to continue the search for Mayu, despite some arguments from the crew.

The ship changes course and heads for the Wind Planet after it picks up the sound of an Ocarina playing. The Wind Planet is a desolate place where the wind blows 60 to 90 miles per hour.

Doctor Who (1963) 19.04.01

The Visitation - Part One

England, 1666. A comet lights up the night sky. A father and his adult children are attacked soon after that.

The Doctor, Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan arrive in England in 1666. It was not their intended destination. Tegan is angry at the Doctor because he promised he was going to take her back to Heathrow. They go outside and look around. They see smoke and head towards it.

The Doctor and his companions are attacked by men wearing face masks. They fight a few of them off and then take off running. They get some help from a stranger who scares off the men chasing them. His name is Richard Mace. He takes them to his temporary living quarters, a barn.

Dexter Laboratory 1.03

1. Dexter's Rival

Dexter is upstaged by the new kid in school, Mandark. It looks as though all is lost until Dexter learns that Mandark has a crush on Dee Dee.

2. Dial M for Monkey: Simion

Monkey is called on to save Earth from Simion who like Monkey was once a subject of laboratory experiments. Simion tries to talk Monkey into turning on Earth and joining him in his scheme for revenge. Monkey reflects back on his life but all that comes to mind are pleasant memories of times spent with Agent Honeydew.

Simion is voiced by Maurice LaMarche who was also the voice of The Brain on Pinky and the Brain.

Crash Landing on You 1.04

Episode 4

The North Korean Coast Guard commander sees Se-ri and Jeong-hyuk kissing. He lets them go and doesn't arrest them but he orders the captain of the fishing boat to turn around and head back to shore.

Se-ri is frustrated. That night, after they get back to Jeong-hyuk's home, she takes off with her parachute and her harness. She is ready to try parasailing back to South Korea. She tries using her walkie-talkie. No one responds to her calls for help but a North Korean listening post picks up her transmission.

Jeong-hyuk heard Se-ri leave and goes looking for her. He finds her just as she is going to try parasailing back to the south. They end up parasailing together to evade the North Korean border patrol.

Ploy

Max quits. He makes a big show of it. Beth is convinced that it is all a ploy to get her to "go out" with him. Dave accepts Max's resignation and doesn't make any effort to stop him from leaving, until Mr. James finds out about it and orders him to beg Max to stay.

Lisa changes her name to Lisa Miller Johnson. Joe tries to talk her out of changing her name. Matthew tries to talk her into changing her name to Svetlana Monsoon. Matthew never liked her old name.

Robert (Daniel Zolghadri) drops out of high school in the middle of the school year and moves into a depressing apartment after his art teacher dies. He gets a job working for Cheryl, a public defender who helped him after he was arrested for stealing art from his dead teacher's apartment. Robert also has a job working at a comic book shop. 

Robert becomes obsessed with Wallace (Matthew Maher), one of Cheryl's clients, after learning that he used to work for Image Comics. Robert's parents aren't supportive of his decision to drop out of school and pursue his art career. Miles (Miles Emanuel), Robert's closest friend, is supportive of his career choice but they can't seem to agree on a number of other things. Robert eventually returns home, on Christmas Day, but he brings Wallace with him.

I think this clip may be from The Phil Solvers Pontiac Special: Keep in Step from 1959. It was a one hour TV special. 

The other characters in this clip are Henshaw, Fender, Papparelli, and Doberman. There were other actors from the show in the TV special but these are the only ones that appeared in this clip.

Daniel and Marcel Larcher find out that their father is dying. They go to see him. Their father has decided to leave everything to Daniel. Their father looks down on Marcel and has nothing good to say to him. Their father dies before they leave.

Raymond Schwartz gets backed into a corner. He is taking a loan from Albert Crémieux, the man who is selling him the concrete business. He could have borrowed the money from his father-in-law but he didn't want to do that. Caberni finds out about Schwartz's financing and gives Raymond a choice: give Caberni half the business or go to prison.

Teen Titans 3.02

X

The Teen Titans cross paths with someone dressed as X, the identity that Robin sometimes adopted in the first two seasons. X is out to steal some Zynothium which powers his weapons and his suit. X is too much for the Teen Titans. They can't stop him.

Robin turns to Professor Chang for help finding Zynothium. The villainous Professor Chang has no interest in helping Robin and the Teen Titans. The Teen Titans, minus Cyborg who has been captured by Professor Chang, converge on a warehouse. Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire are captured by Professor Chang's assistants.

Family Dinner

Moira decides to make dinner. It is a recipe that her mother gave her. She asks for David's help. He has to turn to Stevie for a ride to the store. Stevie talks a lot, during the trip to store, about how she is over him.

Alexis tries to break up with Ted. She finally does after Mutt gives her a hard time about not breaking up with him.

Johnny goes looking for some office space. Bob offers him his garage but there are strings attached to the offer even though Bob insists that there are no strings attached.

Arcadia - The Secret Story of Its Construction

The Mazone fleet continues to look for the Arcadia. They have searched all the planets multiple times. Queen Lafresia believes that they must be hiding among the asteroids and orders them all destroyed.

Captain Harlock continues to tell the story of his further adventures with Tochiro Oyama and Emerelda. Harlock and Oyama made Planet Heavy Meldar their home base. Commander Kiruta came looking for them. He led a fleet of SDF ships. He sent the Hoshino Force to Planet Heavy Meldar but they were destroyed by Emerelda and her space pirates.

Dexter's Laboratory 1.02

1. Dexter Dodgeball

Dexter's written excuse from his doctor (for gym class) is rejected by the PE teacher. Dexter is forced to play dodgeball.

2. Dial M for Monkey: Rasslor

Monkey is one of many heroes assembled by Rasslor, an alien, who threatens to destroy the Earth if one of them cannot defeat him in the wrestling ring. Rasslor fights Valhallen, Major Glory, Sam-R-I, and several other heroes, in addition to Monkey. Rasslor is voiced by Randy "Macho Man" Savage. This cartoon reminds me very much of Marvel Two-in-One Annual 7.

3. Dexter's Assistant

Dexter needs an assistant to help him with one of his experiments. He reluctantly give the job to Dee Dee but before he does so he gives her a new brain.

Bilko finds out that Lillian's father is the head of an important company, in other words that he is rich, and does what he can to convince Lillian's parents that Doberman is actually royalty.

Private Investigator Sam Spade (Ricardo Cortez) is approached by Ruth Wonderly (Bebe Daniels) who needs some help finding her kid sister. Miles Archer, Spade's business partner, takes the job but turns up dead later that night. The man that Archer was tailing also turns up dead.

The police want to pin the murder on Sam when they learn that he was having an affair with Archer's wife. Sam has to think fast to avoid getting arrested. He quickly learns that the kid sister was fictional and that Wonderly is actually after something completely different. Other characters materialize who are after Wonderly and the titular black bird, the Maltese Falcon.

Sam plays the different factions off against one another as he attempts to clear his name stay alive.

Marcel, Suzanne and a couple of their compatriots break city hall in Essarts to steal ration tickets. They run off without the tickets, in a panic. Suzanne goes back to get them and gets caught by the police.

Kollwitz, the new German commander, tells Raymond Schwartz that he is cancelling all contracts with his sawmill. Schwartz has to scramble to recover. He talks to Jeanine, his wife. She suggests that he talk to Daniel Larcher, the mayor.

Teen Titans 3.01

Deception

Cyborg uses a holographic generator to disguise himself and infiltrate the Hive Academy. Stone is his new name. He impresses the headmaster, Brother Blood, but in doing so he gets on the bad side of some of the other students (Jinx, Mammoth, Gizmo).

It turns out that Brother Blood knows Stone's true identity. He promises to make Cyborg fully human again if he will continue to work for the Hive. Cyborg accepts Brother Blood's offer.

Robin, Starfire, Rave, and Beast Boy break into Hive Academy after they start to worry about their teammate. They get into a fight with a team from Hive Academy led by Stone/Cyborg. It looks like the Teen Titans have lost their teammate but at the last minute Cyborg sets the record straight and sides with the other Teen Titans. 

Dexter's Laboratory 1.01

1. Deedeemensional

Dexter sends Dee Dee back in time to warn him of a monster from another dimension.

2. Dial M for Monkey: Magmanamus

A superpowered monkey (known as Monkey) does battle with a magma monster (known as Magmanamus).

3. Maternal Combat

Dexter builds a robotic version of his mother when his real mother gets sick.

Schitt's Creek 2.01

Finding David

David is missing. He drove off in Roland's truck at the end of the first season. One of Moira's bags is missing. She thinks David might have taken it. Alexis has awkward conversations, first with Mutt and then with Ted.

Roland's truck turns up. The Roses borrow Stevie's car and go find him. He ran out of gas and has been staying with an Amish family. They are more than ready to kick him out.

Thoughts

This was a decent start to the second season. It wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it. I didn't remember that David ran away at the end of the first season.

Babylon Berlin 1.02

Episode 2

Konig kills himself with Rath's gun. Rath finds a new place to stay. Lotte goes to a nightclub. Lotte and Rath cross paths in the mens room at the police station. Rath uses up the drugs he has left and goes to get some more. Kardakow's lover betrays him and his communist friends. 

I started to write a more detailed description of this episode but I don't feel like doing that now.

This show feels very surface level. I'm not feeling much if anything in the way of character moments. It is much more style than substance. There are too many things going on at once. I'm just not feeling it. Nothing about it is grabbing me. I think this will be the last episode for me.

Captain Harlock (1978) 1.30

My Friend, My Youth

Captain Harlock and his crew repair the Arcadia in Pirate Island. The Mazone look for the Arcadia. Queen Lafresia suspects that the Arcadia must be in bad shape, wherever it is. She initiates Operation Roller to find Captain Harlock and his ship but her forces are unable to find any sign of the Arcadia.

Pirate Island blends in very well with the other asteroids in that region of space. Captain Harlock reminisces about Tochiro Oyama, his friend who built the Arcadia and who is the father of Mayu.

Doctor Who (1963) 11.03.04

Death to the Daleks - Part Four

The Doctor and Bellal avoid the trap the Doctor detected at the end of the previous episode. They continue to work their way through the city. Two Daleks continue to follow them. The Doctor and Bellal encounter a few other challenges but eventually make it to the nerve center of the city. The Doctor rigs the city to self destruct.

The city sends a couple humanoid creatures to stop the Doctor and Bellal. The two Daleks show up just as the two humanoid creatures are attacking the Doctor and Bellal. The Daleks fight with the city's creatures. The Doctor and Bellal escape during the confusion.

Nawi (Thuso Mbedu) is sent to work in the palace after she refuses to marry the much older man her father wants her to marry. She joins the Agojie, an army of women that protect the people of the Dahomey kingdom of Africa. Nawi is mentored by Izogie (Lashana Lynch). King Ghezo (John Boyega) rules Dahomey. The Agojie are a sisterhood who, in addition to being warriors, have sworn never to get married or have children. They are led by Nanisca (Viola Davis) who doesn't take kindly to Nawi's insolent attitude.

Dahomey is threatened by Oyo, another kingdom whose warriors are led by Oba, who years before was one of many men who raped Nanisca when she was captured in battle. Nanisca escaped but she was pregnant by then. Nanisca is still haunted by memories of what she experienced at the hands of Oba.

Oba does business with white men from Brazil who are there to buy Africans who they can take back to Brazil to sell. Oba and his people gather support from other kingdoms and make plans to destroy the Dahomey. Nanisca comes up with a plan to drive off the would-be invaders.

The Wedding

Lisa and Johnny move forward with their plan to get married. Dave tries to talk Lisa out of it. Johnny asks Dave to be his best man. Max is jealous. Lisa asks Mr. James to give her away. Beth sings at the wedding. Johnny gets arrested after the ceremony is over because he stole Lisa's wedding ring.

Thoughts

I wish I liked this episode more. There were a few good chuckles but on the whole it felt a bit forced. Matthew and Joe were given very little to do in this episode. I didn't care for Mr. James role in this one. I don't recall if this storyline is continued in the next or any of the other remaining episodes in this series.

Watchmen (2019) 1.09

See How They Fly

Lady Trieu's mother was working for Adrian Veidt in 1985 when he recorded his message to future President of the United States, Robert Redford. She stole a sample of his semen from his wall safe and impregnated herself with it.

Lady Trieu visits Adrian Veidt in his Antarctic lair in 2008. He has no idea who she is, until she tells him. He is angry and refuses her request for funding for her plan to capture Doctor Manhattan. She shares with him what she knows about Doctor Manhattan, things that he has not figured out.

Adrian Veidt in 2019 escapes from Europa with some help from Lady Trieu. He is cryogenically fronzen in gold for the return trip to Earth. She finally thaws him out in time for her big moment.

Atlanta 4.10

It Was All a Dream

Van invites Earn, Al, and Darius to have lunch with her in a new sushi restaurant. It is right across the street from a Popeye's. Al isn't crazy about the sushi restaurant and keeps eyeing the Popeye's.

Darius spends some time in a sensory deprivation chamber. He wakes up numerous times. Towards the end of the episode he shows up at the sushi restaurant, just as the owner is getting angry at Alfred for wanting to leave and get some chicken from Popeye's. They speed off in a car he stole.

Darius tells his friends about the dream he is in. They don't believe him that it is just a dream.

Captain Harlock (1978) 1.29

The Life-and-Death Struggle on the Rainbow Planet

Captain Harlock and his crew are despondent after their failure to find Mayu on the Human Planet. They wander, seemingly aimlessly, for a while until they spot some Mazone ships. Daiba leads a team after the Mazone fighters. They engage and destroy some of them but then Captain Harlock orders them to return to the Arcadia.

Doctor Who (1963) 11.03.03

Death to the Daleks - Part Three

Sarah is approached by a humanoid creature. She finds his appearance frightening but he means her no harm. The Doctor, elsewhere in the caverns, is attacked by a snake-like creature that breathes fire. The Doctor evades it. A Dalek shows up and gets into a fight with the snake-like creature. The Dalek is destroyed but the fight gives the Doctor a chance to escape back the way he came.

The Doctor and Sarah evade the Daleks with the help of their new friend, Bellal. He tells them about the city and how his people used to travel to the stars. The Doctor concludes that Bellal's people might have visited Earth.

The Doctor goes with Bellal to investigate the city. He sends Sarah back to the human spaceship. A couple Daleks enter the city not long after the Doctor and Bellal. They are closing in on them when the Doctor notices that he and Bellal are about to step into a trap.

The Phil Silvers Show 2.35

Show Segments

Phil Silvers meets with Corporals Henshaw and Barbella at Lindy's. They run into Ed Sullivan. They all reminisce about a scene that had to be shortened in the previous episode that Sullivan showed up in. They also tell him some stories about moments that didn't make it into other episodes.

The first story they tell Sullivan is about a time when Sergeants Ritzik and Grover try to get Bilko to bet on Navy instead of Army in the Army-Navy game. The second story is about a time that Bilko had a hot letter from a gal in New York City and insisted on reading it to the platoon. The third and final story is about a time that Bilko auctioned off some memorabilia from his travels in Europe.

Watchmen (2019) 1.08

A God Walks into Abar

Dr. Manhattan finds Angela in 2009, on the 22nd anniversary of her parents death. She is a police officer in Vietnam. She is in a bar, when he finds her, drinking a beer. He asks her to have dinner with him the next night. She laughs in his face and doesn't believe that he is really Dr. Manhattan.

He tells her about his operation on Europa, where he created life including a man and a woman. He tells her about his childhood and the two people who inspired the people he created. Their story, that of Angela and Doctor Manhattan, flashes forward seveal times over the course of the episode.
