Most of the team goes undercover to find a thief. Led by Robin, the team (which also includes Miss Martian, Superboy, Red Arrow, and Artemis) joins Haly's Circus as it travels through Europe. Kid Flash shows up briefly but is not with them. Aqualad and Zatanna are completely absent from this episode.
The thief turns out to be Parasite. He steals the powers of others including Superboy and Miss Martian. He is planning to build a super weapon using the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, Switzerland. The first battle with Parasite takes place on the roof of a train as it heads to Geneva. The second takes place in Geneva as Parasite is powering up the LHC. Superboy once again uses the patches that Lex Luthor gave him in 1.22 (Agendas). His teammates think it is odd that he recovers so quickly but they don't find out about the source of his improved powers.
Clancy Brown who played the part of Lex Luthor in Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited plays the part of King Faraday in this episode. I think Faraday may have shown up once or twice before but this is the first time that I noticed who was playing the part.
Red Arrow originally wasn't invited to join the others on this mission but he convinced Robin that he needs someone he can trust since there is a mole on the team. By the end of the episode he seems to make peace with Artemis.
This is an okay episode. I remember thinking this was a bit of a dud the last time I watched this season of Young Justice. I didn't think it was quite that bad this time around but it lacks any really great moments and the plot doesn't really excite me.
