Seinfeld 3.07

The Café

The woman George is dating wants him to take an IQ test. He stresses over it unti Elaine agrees to take the test for him. Jerry gives the owner of a new cafe across the street some advice. Kramer tries to avoid his mother's boyfriend.

Thoughts

I've seen better episodes of Seinfeld. There were a few good laughs in this one but the arc of it didn't really do it for me. It ws kind of obvious from the begining how things were going to go wrong. Jerry's part of the episode was the least satisfying. George and Elaine's was the high point. I never really cared for the little bits of Jerry's standup that they put in episodes of this show.

Seinfeld 3.06

The Parking Garage

Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are at a mall in Jersey. They are ready to leave but they forgot where they parked the car. They spend a long time walking around looking for the car. Jerry and George get fined for urinating in the garage. Elaine is going nuts because she bought goldfish and needs to get them home. Kramer is very relaxed.

Thoughts

I'm pretty sure I remember this one. It's a fun one, ridiculous but fun.

Seinfeld 3.05

The Library

The New York Public Library claims Jerry checked out Topic of Cancer in 1971 but never returned it. George thinks a homeless man is the high school gym teacher who got fired in 1971 after George complained about him.

I remember this one. It is by far my favorite so far of this season. Philip Baker Hall in the role of Mr. Bookman, the library cop, is over the top but I love the deadpan delivery of his lines.

Seinfeld 3.04

The Dog

Jerry gets stuck taking care of a stranger's dog. Caring for the dog interferes with his plans to see a movie, Prognosis Negative, with George and Elaine.

I've seen this one before. I didn't remember how annoying the scenes with the dog barking were. Jerry yelling at the dog didn't help either. The dog is always off screen and probably isn't a dog, based on the way his bark sounds.

Overall this is a very skip-worthy episode.

Seinfeld 3.03

The Pen

Jerry and Elaine visit with Jerry's parents in Florida. Jerry inadvertently causes trouble when he compliments one of his parents' neighbors. Elaine has some problems of her own.

Not bad but not great either. George and Kramer are not in this episode. Elaine has a great moment with a classic line.

Seinfeld 3.02

The Truth

Jerry is getting audited by the IRS. George tells his date, who works for the IRS, after he gives her some of Jerry's financial papers, that he thinks she is pretentious. Kramer is dating Elaine's roommate. Elaine does not approve.

Not the funniest episode ever but there were a few good laughs in this one.

George's middle name is Lewis or Louis. I'm not really sure on the exact spelling.

Seinfeld 3.01

The Note

Jerry spooks his massage therapist after he starts talking to her about a child that was abducted. George gets a massage from a man and starts worrying that he is gay. Kramer claims he saw Joe DiMaggio in Dinky Donuts.

This one started a little slow but once it got rolling there were more than a few laughs.
