Goals
- I am going to (once again) shoot for an average of 7-10 movies per month or around 80-120 movies for the year. The total number of movies isn't as important to me as the mix of movies.
- I would like to watch 5-7 from each decade from the 1920s to the 2020s. Last year I watched at least one movie from every year from 1944 to 2003. This year I would like to try and watch at least one movie from every year in the 21st century (2000-2026).
- I would like to try to expand the diversity of the foreign language films I watch. I would like to try and see at least one movie each from Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
- I would like to watch at least 3 animated films from Japan and if possible a couple animated films made in languages other than English
- I would like to watch more animated films in English, including some older ones from 1970s and 1980s.
- I would like to watch more documentaries
- I would like to watch more films that star and/or were made by non-White people in English and other languages
- I would like to watch some English language films from countries other than just the US, UK, and Australia
