Anthology Television

I don't recall the first time I watched an anthology television program. There have lots of them over the years. My interest in them tends toward science fiction and horror stories. Shows like Love American Style would also qualify as anthology television but I haven't seen an episode of that show in decades. Anthology Television in my mind are shows where each episode has a different set of characters and is a self-contained story although I would be willing to make exceptions on a case by case basis. I do not count something like Fargo as Anthology Television.

Most anthology television shows have a regular host but the host did not appear in the stories themselves. Shows like Fantasy Island and Love Boat come close but do not qualify as anthology television in my book. Maybe there should be another category for them.

I know I've watched more than the episodes I've listed below but these are the only ones that I have watched in recent years.
