Party Down 2.02

Precious Lights Pre-School Auction

Henry refuses to let the team put out a tip jar. Ron shows up in a pit stained shirt. Casey's mobile phone keeps ringing during the auction. Kyle is up for a role in a movie that Roman thinks is all wrong for him.

Thoughts

It's been a few years since I started to watch this show and last watched the previous season. I think it was on Hulu at that time. Now it is on Netflix.

Leonard (J.K. Simmons) and Diandra Stiltskin (Joey Lauren Adams) return for a second appearance. They were first seen in 1.06 Taylor Stiltskin Sweet Sixteen.

This is a good one. There might be better episodes out there but I really enjoyed this one.

Party Down 2.01

Jackal Onassis Backstage Party

Henry is now in charge of the Party Down team. Roman changes places with Jackal Onassis and for the most part finds it to be very unsatisfying. The singer tends bar and is recognized by no one. Casey returns. There are some awkward moments between Casey and Henry. Ron returns with a girlfriend who wants to meet Jackal Onassis.

Thoughts

This is Megan Mullally's first episode of Party Down. She's taking the place of Jennifer Coolidge who took the place of Jane Lynch. The rest of the cast is the same as in the first season but things aren't exactly as they were in the first season.
