Spike and Faye cross paths with a trucker, VT, the Heavy Metal Queen. That's her handle or maybe that's the name of her craft. Spike meets her first. He is one of many bounty hunters hanging out in a bar looking for a bounty named Decker. No one seems to know what Decker looks like, just that he is hauling some dangerous explosives and has a dragon tattoo.
Faye thinks she's found him at an ice cream parlor. It turns out the guy she apprehends isn't the bounty. She spots the real Decker fleeing the ice cream parlor just as she realizes the guy she has assaulted isn't Decker.
Decker wrecks both Faye's and Spike's personal transports. They get a ride back to the Bebop from VT. Jet fixes up their transports but the small craft aren't fully repaired when they get word from VT that she has found Decker. They race out to the space mine where VT is chasing down Decker. It gets a little hairy. Decker is killed by one of his own explosives. VT, Spike, and Fay come close to getting killed.
I'm not sure how to classify this episode. Spike and Faye are after a bounty but they don't get him. No surprise there. Does anything significant happen? I'm not sure.
Not a favorite but I enjoyed this episode.
