Starring Michael J. Fox
Directed by Rod Daniel
Scott Hampton's life is turned upside down when he discovers that he is a werewolf, a teen wolf, as it were. He does his best to keep it a secret from everyone but eventually everyone finds out when he changes in the middle of a basketball game. He is a much better basketball player when he is hairier. His ability gets the team all the way to the championship but no one seems to like him anymore especially his teammates.
I don't know what to make of the movie. The plot is nonexistent. It feels more like a string of gags strung together, and not very good ones at that, than it does a movie.
The movie is marred by the use of a homophobic slur in one scene. Scott's best friend asks him if he is gay except he uses another three-letter word instead of gay. Scott also uses the three-letter slur in his response. This movie came out at the same time as Back to the Future but pales in comparison to it.
