Cherry signs the ladies up for a dance class with Denise, a former showgirl. Most of them are not into it. Cherry has problems of her own. She and Keith want to have a baby but after she has a conversation with Denise she starts having second thoughts.
Sam gets dragged into playing tennis with Bash and Jerry and Lev Zeissman, a couple of Vegas money men. Bash is social, Sam is not. Bash brings them by the ladies' dressing room later. The brothers impose a bit but Bash gets them out of there before it turns ugly.
Debbie starts worrying about her looks during the dance class. Sandy offers her some advice but Debbie feels as though she has to handle this herself. Ruth gets Debbie to relax a bit but inadvertently flashes Sam. She gets Debbie to eat with her but Debbie pukes the meal up when she is alone in her room.
Melanie goes out and picks up a man. She's convinced that he thinks she's a prostitute but it turns out that he is. She doesn't find out until after they have had sex. She's ready to be paid and shocked to discover that he's the one who expects to be paid. She refuses to pay. He storms out.
Tammé and Sheila go to an acting class instead of dance class. The teacher, a white man in his 50s or 60s, is not impressed by either of them. They wind of leaving in a huff. Tammé's back starts bothering her as they are on their way out. She orders Sheila to keep quiet about it.
Thoughts
There's a little more nudity in this episode than I was expecting to see. Ruth and Melanie are both topless, briefly. Paul shows it all off after sex with Melanie.
Denise, is played by Breeda Wool whom I last saw on season 1 of UnREAL. I thought she looked familiar as I was watching the episode but I thought that it was Kerry Bishé until I checked the credits on IMDB.
I think that there is lots of set up in this episode but not much delivery. I expect that Debbie's and Tammé's issues will be seen again before the end of the season, possibly in the next episode. I think that Melanie will get a visit from the male prostitute's pimp in the next episode or two.
