Will They Pass or Fail

Anya gets wait-listed for Eden College but she is at the top of the wait-list and the next day they get word that she got in. Anya wants a reward for getting in and Franky helps nudge Loid into giving her what she wants: to be rescued like a princess from a castle by her father while he is disguised as one of her favorite TV characters.

Thoughts

Yor gets drunk early in this episode and stays that way for most of it. At one point she attacks Loid in the name of keeping Loid from rescuing Anya but then she falls down and passes out.

I think I am losing interest in this show. I'm not sure if I want to stick with it. I've had a taste of it and although the first bite was delicious I'm starting to see that it is doesn't measure up to what I hoped it would be. I'm kind of disappointed that Yor hasn't been developed more as a character.

I think it is time to move on and give something else a try.

The Prestigious School's Interview

Loid, Yor, and Anya go to Eden College for the interview. Henry Henderson, the headmaster and also one of the interviewers, suspects that the Forgers are too low class for Eden College. Loid and Yor impress him on multiple occasions. He sees them as being very elegant, which scores a lot of points with him.

Murdoch, one of the other interviewers whose father used to run Eden College, gives the Forgers a hard time. Anya is pushed to tears which causes Loid to lose his temper. The Forgers wind up leaving unsure if Anya had been accepted or not but fairly sure that she had not.

Prepare for the Interview

Yor moves in with Loid and Anya. Loid tries to get Anya and Yor ready for the interview at Eden College. He asks them simple questions but neither of them seem to have a clue as to how to answer the questions in a way that satisfies him.

Loid takes Anya and Yor to the opera, a museum, and to a restaurant. Loid and Yor end up chasing down a man whom they see mug an old woman. They recover her wallet for her.

Loid isn't very confident at the end of the day that they will be able to impress the interviewers at Eden College.

Secure a Wife

Loid needs a wife to take with him to the interview at Eden College.

Yor Briar, an assassin with the code name of Thorn Princess, needs a boyfriend or husband. Her brother Yuri and her coworkers keep giving her a hard time about being single.

Loid and Yor cross paths. Anya is gob smacked and very excited to learn that Yor is an assassin. Anya uses what she learns from reading their minds to help them open up to one another. Loid agrees to go to a party with Yor that one of her coworkers is having and pretend to be her boyfriend. He asks in return that she go the interview with him and pretend to be his wife.

Operation Strix

Twilight, a spy, is given a mission which requires him to have a family to maintain his cover and get close to his target. Loid Forger (aka Twilight) is looking for an extremely intelligent child because he needs to enroll them in Eden College, a prestigious school, and there is an entrance exam the child will have to pass. He adopts Anya, a five-year-old girl who seems to be extremely intelligent.

Loid doesn't realize that Anya is a telepath. She escaped from secret government program where she was raised. She has faked intelligence by reading other people's minds. She manages to pass the entrance exam but then Twilight discovers that he is expected to bring his wife and Anya in for an interview before Anya can be admitted to the school.
