Secure a Wife

Loid needs a wife to take with him to the interview at Eden College.

Yor Briar, an assassin with the code name of Thorn Princess, needs a boyfriend or husband. Her brother Yuri and her coworkers keep giving her a hard time about being single.

Loid and Yor cross paths. Anya is gob smacked and very excited to learn that Yor is an assassin. Anya uses what she learns from reading their minds to help them open up to one another. Loid agrees to go to a party with Yor that one of her coworkers is having and pretend to be her boyfriend. He asks in return that she go the interview with him and pretend to be his wife.

Loid shows up late to the party. He accidentally introduces himself as Yor's husband. They leave the party but before he can take her home they get attacked by people hunting him because he stole valuable artwork as part of another mission. They decide (as they fight off the armed men who are trying to recover the valuable artwork) to keep up the pretense of being married by actually getting married.

Thoughts

Anya was only in the first half of this episode. The second half was all Loid and Yor.

This show is based on a manga series of the same name. I've read the first chapter which can be read for free online but I think I am going to leave it at that, at least for now.

I really enjoyed this episode. It really got silly at times but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think that I am going to have to watch more of this series.
