Catra, Scorpia, and Entrapta are in the snowy Northern Reaches looking for First Ones technology when She-Ra, Glimmer, Bow, and Sea Hawk show up. Catra is freezing cold and doesn't want to be there. Scorpia has a big crush on Catra and is trying to work up the nerve to ask her out. Entrapta is consumed by the search for First Ones technology.
When the two sides get into a fight Catra uses a small piece of First Ones technology on She-Ra. It infects her sword. She-Ra goes nuts and starts attacking everyone. She knocks Glimmer, Bow, and Seahawk out of the fight and down a mountainside.
She-Ra gets separated from her sword and reverts to Adora except that she acts like she's high on something. Glimmer, Hawk, and Bow climb back up to the Horde's camp. Sea Hawk breaks into the camp and winds up commiserating with Scorpia. He feels neglected by Mermista and she feels neglected by Catra. Adora continues to act silly.
The First Ones tech that Catra used on She-Ra's sword attracts some giant slugs. Entrapta thinks that they much be made of First Ones tech because they are attracted to the device. The slugs almost destroy the camp entirely but Scorpia saves the day by breaking the First Ones device, even though Catra tells her not to.
Everyone heads for home. Entrapta reveals that she found an even bigger piece of First Ones technology which should be sufficient to power Hordak's portal.
Thoughts
This was a fun one. Bow tries bonding with Sea Hawk like they did once before but Sea Hawk is too bummed out over the way Mermists has treated him to notice Bow. I like that the two sides were threatened by something other than just each other. I loved how Sea Hawk and Scorpia wind up comparing notes about the object of their affections. Adora acting goofy was also fun to see, especially considering how deadly serious she sometimes can be.
