Ray is hired to find out what happened to Jenny who disappeared in 1995. Kim, her father, is dying of cancer. She was 13 when she disappeared. The cops thought they had the guy but they couldn't find enough evidence to charge him. Kim wants Ray to do that.
Dennis, the suspected murderer, spent time in prison for molesting or raping kids. Ray finds him, interrogates him, and finds out where he left her body. He brings Kim to see his daughter's remains. Ray is left to deal with Dennis.
Brittany and Freddy were in this one briefly. Ally, Gary, and Bruce were not.
This one was a little too straight forward for me. There was a lack of nuance or subtlety that I have grown used to with this show. It wasn't bad it just didn't move me. It felt a bit too paint by numbers. I kept thinking there's gotta be a twist in here somewhere but there wasn't. Unless there is some follow up on this episode in the future this one feels very skippable.
