Morty falls for Planetina, a superhero. They date briefly but then a group of four adults, who are responsible for Planetina, interfere. They try to keep Morty and Planetina apart. Morty fights back and kills the adults. Beth tries to forbid Morty from seeing Planetina but he runs away with his new girlfriend. He quickly discovers that she has a murderous streak when it comes to dealing with humans who pollute the planet.
Rick takes Summer on a trip to help her forget about her ex-boyfriend. They go to visit three planets that are about to get destroyed. One is near a star that is about to go supernova. The second is about to get swallowed by a black hole. The third is about to get hit by a large meteor. They party on the first two planets. They agree not to get attached to the aliens but Rick breaks that promise.
Alison Brie played the part of Planetina. I know her best from parts she played in Mad Men, Community, and GLOW.
I liked this episode a lot. I'm not sure if there are going to be any consequences or fallout from this one. So far all three episodes this season seem to be stand alone affairs.
I love the reaction of the aliens from the third planet to being saved.
