Miles and Bronwyn, a White couple, take Sebastian, their young son, to the funeral for Sylvia, his nanny. Bronwyn was reluctant to tell Sebastian that Sylvia was dead. Sebastian wants to be at the funeral and gets into the spirit of the event a little more than his parents do.
The funeral does not go off without some confrontations. One of Sylvia's daughters has some unaired grievances. Two men start wrestling. Miles and Bronwyn leave before it is all over. It's a little too much for them.
This episode takes place in New York City. The regular cast of Atlanta is not in this one.
Miles and Bronwyn seem like they probably were very content to let Sylvia raise their son. They seem like they have their own interests and that Sebastian is not the center of their lives.
This is an okay episode. It is definitely another think piece. Nothing about it seemed off putting. It was a little bland, kind of like Miles and Bronwyn.
