The Invisible Enemy - Part Three
The clones of the Doctor and Leela find themselves in the Doctor's body. They make their way to the mind/brain area of the Doctor's head. They are attacked along the way by various parts of the Doctor's body.
Leela and K-9 stand guard while Professor Marius and his two assistants keep an eye on the Doctor. Lowe comes for the Doctor with his three followers. K-9 kills one of them but then the virus spreads to him. He is ordered to attack Leela. She slips and falls just as he is about to shoot her. She hits her head and is knocked out.
Howe and his other two followers make it to the room where the Doctor is kept. They shoot one of the professors' assistants but the other one gets away. Marius tries to resist but he is infected with the virus and promptly follows orders given by Howe. Marius makes a clone of Howe, shrinks him down and injects him into the Doctor.
The Doctor finds the Nucleus and has a conversation with it. The clone of Howe catches up to Leela but she overpowers him and then he is consumed by some part of the Doctor's body. Marius retrieves the clone of the Doctor and returns him to normal size but instead of the Doctor it is the Nucleus.
Thoughts
This episode was a bit weak. I think that a little too much of this one was put on the shoulders of the special effects. There wasn't much of anything in the way of character moments although there was a little bit of bonding between Leela and K-9. Hopefully the next and final installment of this story will be better than this one.
