Licensed to Kill (Part 2)
Colt meets up with Howie at the Temple of the Rising Sun. Howie has brought Ryker with him. Ryker was shot and is in bad shape. He tells Colt that he needs to contact Agent Bradshaw of the FBI. Colt suggests that Bradshaw might be the one leaking information to Salem. Ryker insists that Bradshaw is clean and that it is Lieutenant Commander Carlson who has been working for Salem.
Colt contacts Bradshaw and let's him know their location. Bradshaw gives Colt and Howie the keys to his car and tells them to get to the airport. Bradshaw kills Ryker once they have left and then sends some of Salem's goons after Colt and Howie. The two stunt men manage to evade getting killed by Salem's men but get arrested by the Honolulu police.
Lieutenant Commander Carlson bails Colt and Howie out of jail and places them in confinement but they escape again, in women's naval uniforms. They jump into a cab only to discover that the driver is Salem. They escape from the cab and then have to run from Salem's men. The two stunt men run into Tom Selleck while they are evading the black masked militia.
Colt and Howie make their way back to the hotel and change into their regular clothes. Colt is pretty sure that he know how Salem is going to try and assassinate a visiting dignitary. Howie calls Bonnie and lets her know where they are. Bradshaw overhears the conversation and shows up with Salem's goons to grab Colt and Howie but they aren't there. Instead they grab Bonnie.
Colt eventually apprehends Salem after and aerial battle in motor powered gliders. Bonnie is rescued. Salem is dead? Bradshaw is arrested. Everyone is happy.
Final Thoughts
Tom Selleck was clearly not on set with Colt. They never appear in the same shot together even if they were in the same scene together. Magnum, P.I. was in season two at the time this first season episode of The Fall Guy was released.
Not a great episode. It is fun from time to time to go back and watch something like this
