FUBU
This one is set in the past. It is mostly about Earn but Alfred is in it too. Earn's mother gets him a shirt, a FUBU shirt. She bought it at Marshall's. It was on sale. He wears it proudly to school the next day.
Questions start to arise about the authenticity of his shirt. One of his classmates also has a new FUBU shirt. The shirts look almost identical. Earn gets harassed by older kids and kids in his grade. It doesn't look good for Earn. Alfred steps in and helps point the finger at the other kid's shirt. The bullies lay off of Earn and focus on the other kid.
The truth of the matter is that Earn doesn't know if his is real or fake. The next day he finds out that the other kid committed suicide. He gets home and finds that his mother bought him another FUBU shirt.
I didn't hate this episode but I wasn't sure what to make of it. It seems as if it is supposed to be the origin of Earn. It explains a little bit about his personality and his relationship with Alfred. It was weird that the entire thing was set in the past.
