Destiny - Part 2
Glimmer and Scorpia arrive in the Fight Zone and go looking for the Black Garnet. They encounter Lonnie, Kyle, and Rohelio who are getting ready to leave the Fright Zone. They no longer like or want to work for Catra.
Hordak tries to kill Catra. He chases her around the Fright Zone. Catra eventually gets the advantage, destroys his gun, and separates him from the First Ones tech that is giving him strength. He is almost crushed under a piece of machinery.
Glimmer and Scorpia find the Black Garnet. Scorpia connects with it and becomes very powerful.
She-Ra goes to the Beacon to try and stop Light Hope. It is too late now that Scorpia has connected with the Black Garnet. The Heart of Etheria is now in balance.
The five princess (Glimmer, Frosta, Scorpia, Mermista, Perfuma) feel their powers increase. They are able to fight off the Horde soldiers and machines that threaten their lands much more easily but then the power takes over their bodies. They are no longer able to do as they please.
She-Ra tries to talk Light Hope into stopping what she has started. Light Hope will not. Light Hope transports Etheria from Despondos and back to the Universe. She-Ra unsuccessfully tries to stop her. She-Ra smashes her sword. She reverts to Adora. Light Hope comes to her senses and thanks Adora before disintegrating.
Bow travels to the Fright Zone. He tries to help Glimmer but it is too late. He sees Hordak and Glimmer disappear before his eyes. They are taken to Horde Prime's flagship. Hordak puts on a brave face and tries to tell Horde Prime about his successes but it doesn't work. Horde Prime has Hordak taken away to be dealt with.
Horde Prime is ready to kill Glimmer but then Catra shows up and tells him about the Heart of Etheria. She also explains that Glimmer is one of the keys to the weapon's activation.
The episode ends with Adora explaining to Bow that they are going to find Glimmer and save the Universe.
Thoughts
Double Trouble and Entrapta are both in this episode. Double Trouble seems to play a more significant role. All five princesses are in this episode but Frosta, Perfuma, and Mermista don't have much in the way of lines.
There's a lot going on in this episode. It ends on a definite cliffhanger. There are a number of developments. Scorpia gets new powers. Light Hope disappears. Horde Prime is introduced. Catra decides to give up until she meets Horde Prime. Glimmer comes to the realization that she was wrong to trust Light Hope. Adora is no longer She-Ra.
I'm sure that there will be plenty of developments in the final season. The sword may be broken but I expect that She-Ra will return in some way, with or without the sword. The princesses seem to have lost their powers but I assume that will change too. I'm curious to see what sort of role Double Trouble will play, if any in the next season. What about Hordak? Will he play a role in the final season. There are a lot of characters that could be involved.
