She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.13

Destiny - Part 2

Glimmer and Scorpia arrive in the Fight Zone and go looking for the Black Garnet. They encounter Lonnie, Kyle, and Rohelio who are getting ready to leave the Fright Zone. They no longer like or want to work for Catra.

Hordak tries to kill Catra. He chases her around the Fright Zone. Catra eventually gets the advantage, destroys his gun, and separates him from the First Ones tech that is giving him strength. He is almost crushed under a piece of machinery.

Glimmer and Scorpia find the Black Garnet. Scorpia connects with it and becomes very powerful.

She-Ra goes to the Beacon to try and stop Light Hope. It is too late now that Scorpia has connected with the Black Garnet. The Heart of Etheria is now in balance. 

The five princess (Glimmer, Frosta, Scorpia, Mermista, Perfuma) feel their powers increase. They are able to fight off the Horde soldiers and machines that threaten their lands much more easily but then the power takes over their bodies. They are no longer able to do as they please.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.12

Destiny - Part 1

Glimmer finds Scorpia and tells her that she needs to connect with the Black Garnet, her runestone. Scorpia is reluctant. Shadow Weaver disapproves of Glimmer's plan but Glimmer is to determined stick with her own plan. It takes some convincing but she talks Scorpia into going to the Fright Zone with her.

Double Trouble escapes from Bright Moon and returns to the Fright Zone. She tells Catra that She-Ra is gone from Bright Moon. The time to attack is here. Catra starts to make plans. Hordak has his doubts but when Catra tells him the good news he signs on. Things are looking up for Catra until Double Trouble has a chat with Hordak and gives him reasons to doubt Catra. Hordak goes to confront Catra. Double Trouble sends a message to Glimmer letting her know what she's done.

She-Ra, Bow, Swift Wind, Micah, and Entrapta go to the center of Beast Island. Entrapta shows them what she has learned about the Heart of Etheria. She-Ra understands the need to go back. Everyone else is with her except Entrapta. She wants to stay. They finally convince her that it isn't safe to stay and that they really are her friends. Together they leave in the First Ones ship in which they came to Beast Island. They arrive back in Bright Moon just after Glimmer has teleported herself and Scorpia out of there.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.11

Beast Island

Adora, Bow, and Swift Wind arrive on Beast Island. They are there to find Entrapta. They find something else, trouble. Adora can't transform into She-Ra. They are attacked by lots of large beasts. It doesn't look good for them when someone shows up and saves them, but it isn't Entrapta. It is King Micah, Glimmer's father.

Micah has lost all sense of time since he has been on Beast Island. He thinks Glimmer is still a little girl. He is amazed to learn that Swift Wind can speak. They try to keep from him the fact that Angela is gone but he eventually finds out.

Glimmer goes to the Beacon, to see Light Hope. Glimmer is not authorized to be there. Light Hope sends hordes of robotic spider creatures after her but Glimmer destroys them all. 

Adora, Bow, Swift Wind, and King Micah head to the center of Beast Island. The place is littered with First Ones tech. There is a noise that is overwhelming. The island begins to overpower them. Adora refuses to give in and finally transforms into She-Ra. She saves her friends and then Entrapta shows up.

Light Hope finally appears before Glimmer who tells the hologram that she wants to control the power at the center of Etheria so that she can defeat the Horde. Light hope tells her about the power at the center of Etheria and what must be done in order to tame it. The key to it is a Princess who has never connected with her rune stone, Scorpia.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.10

Fractures

Glimmer tries to use a truth spell to interrogate Double Trouble but it doesn't work. Adora calls a meeting of the the Princess Alliance to discuss what to do about the Heart of Etheria. Adora and Bow are convinced that they need to disable it. Glimmer wants to use it against the Horde.

Scorpia arrives in Bright Moon. She wants the Princess Alliance to help her rescue Entrapta from Beast Island. They are suspicious of her motivations. They lock her and Emily up in the spare bedroom. Frosta and Perfuma keep Scorpia company.

Catra looks for Scorpia without success. She can't contact Double Trouble. She yells at Lonnie. She smashes a lot of equipment. She is not in a good mood.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.09

Hero

Adora and Swift Wind visit Madam Razz. Adora remembers that Mara told her about a weapon. Adora thinks that Madam Razz should know about the weapon. Madam Razz has other ideas. She wants to make a pie. She wants Adora to help her make the pie. 

Adora and Swift Wind follow Madam Razz as she runs around looking for sugar and berries for the pie. Madam Razz leads Adora and Swift Wind to a site of First Ones tech that they had not known about.

Madam Razz experiences flashbacks throughout the episode. She jumps back and forth between the past (with Mara) and the present (with Adora). She teaches Mara about Etheria while she runs around looking for ingredients for the pie. She calls Mara and Adora by one another's names on numrous occasions.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.08

Boys Night Out

Mermista is in the dumps because she lost her kingdom. Adora and Glimmer are still getting on one another's nerves. Sea Hawk gets Bow and Swift Wind to accompany him on a Boys Night Out. They go to a pub, have some drinks, and then get captured by pirates. Sea Hawk tells Bow and Swift Wind not to worry. Their captors aren't real pirates and it is all part of his plan bring everyone back together.

It turns out that the pirates are real pirates. They are led by an old acquaintance of Sea Hawk, Admiral Scurvy. He turns them over the Horde but not before Sea Hawk gets a message off to Mermista, by seagull.

Mermista gets Adora and Glimmer to stop fighting long enough to help her rescue the boys.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.07

Mer-Mysteries

Mermista uses her knowledge of murder mysteries novels to try and figure out who the traitor is in their midst. Perfuma assists Mermista. Adora and Glimmer argue about the trustworthiness of Shadow Weaver. Sea Hawk brags about his exploits. Bow is convinced that he must somehow be the traitor. Double Trouble enjoys the confusion.

It doesn't look good for the rebellion but in the end Double Trouble walks into the trap set by Glimmer. Double Trouble reveals that the Horde has been busy while the Rebellion has been focused on finding the traitor in their midst. Catra, Hordak, and the Horde have conquered Salineas, Mermista's country. 

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.06

Princess Scorpia

She-Ra, Glimmer, and Bow attack a bunch of Horde outposts in the northern reaches. The outposts are suspiciously undermanned. Flutterina is with them. They still don't know the truth about her. She does what she can to get She-Ra and Glimmer angry at one another.

Hordak is having trouble assembling the super weapon that Entrapta was building when she was banished to Beast Island. He orders Catra to find Entrapta's notes. Catra turns the task over to Scorpia, who still holds out hope that they are still friends. 

Scorpia looks for the notes with help from Emily, Entrapta's robotic friend. Scorpia tells Emily a little about her past and how the Fright Zone used to be her family's kingdom. Emily reveals that the notes she is looking for are inside her. They can't be removed without destroying Emily.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.05

Protocol

A storm of glowing spores causes Light Hope to malfunction while Adora is visiting. Light Hope has to reboot and doesn't recognize Adora while she is in the midst of that process. Adora learns a little bit about Light Hope's relationship with Mara.

Lonnie, Rogelio, and Kyle get stranded in the Whispering Woods when their vehicle malfunctions due to the storm. They argue. Catra contacts them and wants to know what's taking so long.

The storm lets up eventually. Light Hope is restored. Adora heads back to Bright Moon. The three Horde soldiers get their vehicle fixed and move on. Light Hope deletes the memory of Mara.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.04

Pulse

The Horde seems to be one step ahead of the Princess Alliance. The princesses still don't know about Double Trouble or that they are secretly disguised as Flutterina. Glimmer winds up turning to Shadow Weaver for help.

Shadow Weaver helps Glimmer locate the Horde's base of operations in the Whispering Wood. She attacks the base singlehandedly and gets into a fight with Catra. Glimmer then locates her friends and helps them fight off some bots sent by the Horde.

Thoughts

This was Glimmer's episode. It was all about her getting to flex her muscles. She-Ra seemed very human in this episode.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.03

Flutterina

Catra has nightmares about Adora and Entrapta. She soldiers on and doesn't tell anyone about them. Catra introduces Hordak to Double Trouble. Hordak still isn't completely on board with Catra's plans.

Adora, Bow, and Swift Wind go to a party thrown in their honor by the people of Elberon. Adora meets Flutterina, a girl who almost faints when they shake hands. The party gets interrupted by the news that there's a really big Horde robot in the area. She-Ra and Swift Wind leave the party to deal with the robot.

The robot proves to be a little more trouble than She-Ra and Swift Wind imagined it would be because it regenerates. They have to use their combined might to defeat it. They return to the party only to discover that the robot was just a distraction. Almost everyone is gone. They were taken prisoner by the Horde. 

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.02

The Valley of the Lost

Queen Glimmer sends Adora, Bow, Huntara, and Perfuma to the Crimson Waste to recover Mara's spaceship. The spaceship isn't where they left it. They find it in the Valley of the Lost. The Horde has it. Catra and Scorpia are there. 

Perfuma is very discouraged because she has trouble controlling cacti and there is nothing but cacti (in terms of plants) in the Crimson Waste. They are counting on her to help them move the spaceship once they finds it.

Glimmer keeps checking in via Bow's tablet. She's very eager to know what kind of progress they are making. Adora doesn't want her to know that they have encountered some setbacks.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.01

The Coronation

Glimmer prepares for her coronation. Castaspella, her aunt, puts a lot of pressure on her. Her friends (Adora, Bow, Frosta, Mermista, Perfuma) try to help her get ready but they also get on her nerves a bit. Glimmer has to complete a quest before her coronation. Bow tries to read up on it but he misses a few details. Bow and Adora accompany Glimmer on her quest. It all works out in the end even though they almost get eaten by a giant snake.

Catra is not in Hordak's good graces. He's angry at her for what she did, last season. He continues to push her around. She does the same to Scorpia. Catra gets very angry when Scorpia tries suggesting that they should go to Beast Island to retrieve Entrapta. Catra insists that Entrapta betrayed them.
