Sgt. Bilko gets one of his men, Corporal Honnegan, who is an expert on birds, to appear on the $64,000 question. Something happens just before the final round of the game show and Honnegan forgets everything he knows about birds. Bilko wants to not take a chance on losing everything in the final round, and walk away with $32,000 but he gets backed into a corner and is forced to let Honnegan go for the $64,000.
This is a fun one. Not the best but fun.
Fred Gwynne plays the part of Corporal Honnegan. This is his second and last appearance on The Phil Silvers Show. His previous appearance was in 1.09 (The Eating Contest). He plays the same character in both episodes.
