Something Unforgivable
Jimmy and Kim move into a hotel in downtown Albuquerque. They are still worried about Lalo coming after them. Jimmy reaches out to Mike but Mike won't talk to him. Jimmy goes to Mike's house and makes a nuisance of himself. Mike lets him in and tells him that there is nothing to worry about. Lalo will be taken care of within 24 hours.
Kim goes back to work doing pro bono work. She takes on some more cases. She runs into Howard, who tells her about what Jimmy did to him: bowling balls, hookers. It makes her laugh. She goes back to the hotel and tells Jimmy about running into Howard. She suggests that they get him good, put a real dent in his reputation, something unforgivable.
Lalo and Nacho drive to Lalo's home in Mexico. Lalo introduces him around. He even takes him to see Don Eladio. Nacho gets contacted by a strike team that Gus has hired. He helps them to break in and then gets out of there. The strike team is there to take out Lalo, but he's a little too slippery. He gets injured but he manages to kill them all.
Thoughts
What a way to close the season. I should have known that Lalo wouldn't be that easy to kill. Everyone is on notice now (even if they think that Lalo's dead) but I'm guessing that Nacho is at the top of Lalo's list right now.
Where was Nacho's SUV? Early in the episode he parks it inside the walls of Lalo's compound. After he lets the strike team in he walks outside the compound and leaves. How did he get away if his vehicle was inside the walls of the compound?
Who will survive season 6? Kim? Nacho? Lalo? Everyone else is safe, although they could get injured, but not too badly. I guess that Howard will be in Season 6. Maybe he won't survive the next season. He wasn't in Breaking Bad but he also has yet to have any contact with the cartels.
This was a very good episode. The ending was extremely tense. I was hoping for a little less tease or setup for the next season but I guess it is what it is.
