Detective
Lana reveals that she was in a romantic relationship with Jonathan, Willis' brother. Lana pairs up with Green and checks the docks to look for the boat on which Lana and Johnathan used to hang. Willis pairs up with Turner and goes looking for Detective Carrey one of the detectives that Jonathan used to help out. No one seems to know what happened to him in the twelve years since Jonathan disappeared.
Both teams find what they are looking for but there are some bumps along the way. Lana and Green don't get along at first. Once Lana comes clean, and tells Green about her relationship with Jonathan, the two start to get along better.
This episode seemed a little more serious although there was one moment that made me laugh out loud. On the whole there wasn't much of the show within a show vibe as in previous epiosdes.
The focus was very heavy on the four characters mentioned in my summary. Willis and Jonathan's parents, Fatty, Uncle Wong, Audrey, and other characters who have shown up in some or all of the previous episodes only showed up very sparingly in this one.
This episode ends on a down note but I think it is a bit of misdirection. I don't think that Jonathan killed Carrey's partner. I'm not convinced that Jonathan is dead. I'm eager to see what comes next. Willis is now a detective. How much higher can he rise on a show like this?
