Superiority Complex
Alan shows up at the party. He and Nadia talk theories about what is happening to them. They don't see eye to eye but it seems to help them both.
Nadia also talks to John. He still blames her for flaking out and not meeting his daughter. She tries to make it up to him. It feels like Alan's conscience is rubbing off on Nadia. She gets killed a few more times but she starts to try doing things that will change the world. She finds out, the hard way, that her friend Ruth has a gas leak in her apartment and starts calling the gas company to report it. She tries to meet with John and his daughter. She comes close but at the last minute she flakes out.
Alan talks to Mike. He tries getting through to him. He starts to attack him one time, and gets thrown out of the party. Alan interferes with Mike's attempts to score with a stranger at the party. She doesn't appreciate his interference. Alan dies a few times. He notices that his fish is missing.
Alan and Nadia discover that they seemed to be linked. They have died the exact same number of times and always at the same time.
Thoughts
I found the last scene with John and Nadia to be very moving. There was something about the way she flaked out on him that felt very real. I wonder if she experienced something similar when she was a kid.
This was good. It felt like more than a gimmick. Nadia and Alan both seem to be getting fleshed out. It also felt once again like there are barriers. Nadia gets stopped on a few occasions.
