She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 2.02

Ties That Bind

The Horde officially takes over Dryl, Entrapta's home. Bow tells Glimmer that he figured out that Entrapta must still be alive. They assume that she must be the Horde's prisoner and go looking for her. They go to Dryl and learn that Entrapta is indeed in the Fright Zone but they don't realize that she is working with the Horde voluntarily.

Glimmer loses her cool and attacks Catra. Catra isn't alone. She has Scorpia and some of her Horde soldiers with her. The fight turns out to be unbalanced in the Horde's favor. Glimmer and Bow flee but they accidentally take Catra with them. Bow hits Catra with one of his arrows that ties a web of ropes around her.

She-Ra continues to train under Light Hope's tutelage. She learns to control her sword's transformations much better but she also learns from Light Hope that she needs to start training with Swift Wind. They can be stronger together. Light Hope starts to experience some glitches. She starts freezing up intermittently. She explains to Adora that in order to fix the problem she needs to fix the Watchtower which was damaged by Mara.

Glimmer decides that they need to take Catra back to Bright Moon. Catra does everything she can to annoy Glimmer, which isn't very hard. Scorpia, Lonnie, and Rogelio eventually catch up to Catra and her captors. It is then that Glimmer and Bow learn that Entrapta is working for the Horde of her own accord.

Adora and Swift Wind take off in search of the Watchtower. They find the spot where it is supposed to be but they have trouble locating what's left of it because it has been smashed to pieces. She-Ra tries to fix it on her own but is unable to reassemble the Watchtower. It isn't until after Adora and Swift Wind bond over the importance of their mission that they figure out how to reassemble the Watchtower.

Thoughts

I like how this episode was structured. It was good to see Catra pester someone other than Adora. Glimmer has been a bit of an easy target these last couple episodes. Hopefully one day she will come into her own and stop being quite so short-tempered.
