Nagate moves in with Izana. The pipes are creaking. It turns out to be Tsumugi who has crept through the pipes to visit them.
Yure Shinatose and Numi work on a new weapon. They report in to Captain Kobayashi who wants to know when it will be ready.
Nagate and 3 other pilots take part in a test of a new propulsion system. Momo Kunato, pilots Tsumugi.
Nagate goes to the real estate office. He has an order which entitles him to a place in any sector, without restrictions. The housing office person finds him just what he wants: a remote place with lots of old piping.
Tanikaze tells Izana about his new place and invites her to move in with him. Tsumugi shows up soon after they arrive at the new home. Tsumugi winds up sharing Tanikaze's bed with him.
The episode ends with the testing of the new weapon.
Thoughts
This was another fairly low stakes episode. I don't really get where Nagate's relationships with Tsumugi and Izana are going. It is a weird triangle. Yuhata spots Nagate iwth the housing agent. She seems to suspect that something is going on between them. Is she jealous? I can't tell.
I get the impression from the trailer for the next episode that there is going to be some combat in the next episode. I think the opponent must be yet another Gauna but it wasn't clear from the teaser.
