The Justice League saves a distant planet and then splits for the winter holidays. Green Lantern decides to stay on the snowy planet and go sledding, just like he used to when he was a kid. Shayera stays with him. They get into a snowball fight and then later head to one of her favorite hangouts. There they engage in one of her favorite activities, a bar room brawl.
Flash goes to visit some orphaned kids. He gets them a present but it is in such high demand that he winds up going all the way to the manufacturer in Japan to get it. He is on his way back to the orphanage when he runs into the Ultra-Humanite. He talks the villain into fixing the toy he brought from Japan, after it gets broken while they are fighting.
Superman takes J'onn home with him to Smallville for the holiday. Ma and Pa Kent welcome the Martian with open arms. J'onn doesn't get the holiday at first but over the course of the next 24 hours he starts to understand.
Thoughts
Batman and Wonder Woman are not in this episode. This is the only one-part story in the two seasons of Justice League.
I'm sure I've seen this one before but I don't have any clear recollections of it.
This episode didn't really move me. I understand what it was trying to do but it didn't do it for me. The moments that seemed like they were supposed to be moving just didn't feel earned.
