Sgt Bilko and Sgt Hogan both arrange for furloughs at the same time. He says he is going to Wyoming. She says she is going to South Carolina. They both go to New York City. Their paths cross a number of time without them knowing it.
Colonel Hall is not in this episode. This is the 4th episode in which Sgt Hogan has appeared. She appeared in a total of 18 episodes, 6 of which were in the 1st season of the show.
George McIver plays a soldier that Sgt Bilko kicks out of a phone booth on three occasions. This is the first of three episodes in which he appeared.
Billie Allen plays the part of WAC Billie. She appeared in 35 episodes of the show. Many of her appearances were uncredited but this (her 5th appearance) is one that was credited.
The same actor who was cast to play Bilko in the movie that was being made in 1.16 (Hollywood) was also in this episode. This time around he plays a soldier who is mistaken for Bilko by two different women. I don't know what the actor's name is because he is credited in neither episode nor on IMDb.
I enjoyed the humor in this episode quite a bit. I would say it is one of the best on this disc.
