Protocol
A storm of glowing spores causes Light Hope to malfunction while Adora is visiting. Light Hope has to reboot and doesn't recognize Adora while she is in the midst of that process. Adora learns a little bit about Light Hope's relationship with Mara.
Lonnie, Rogelio, and Kyle get stranded in the Whispering Woods when their vehicle malfunctions due to the storm. They argue. Catra contacts them and wants to know what's taking so long.
The storm lets up eventually. Light Hope is restored. Adora heads back to Bright Moon. The three Horde soldiers get their vehicle fixed and move on. Light Hope deletes the memory of Mara.
I'm not sure what the title of this episode refers to exactly.
It's funny how TV shows, whether they are cartoons or not, like to have it both ways. Robots and computers are just machines, things to be used or destroyed quite often, except sometimes when they are treated like people.
I'm not too crazy about this one. It doesn't stand on its own very well. I feel as though it was meant to be touching and emotional but I didn't feel like most of the moments in this episode were earned.
