Wirt and Greg, brothers, get lost and wind up at the old grist mill. The woodsman who lives there builds a fire and invites them to stay but then a wild dog shows up.

Thoughts

I'm not sure what to make of this. I'm tempted to keep watching but I'm also tempted to stop and not watch anymore.

Chinese rebels including Wan Jen-mi (the innkeeper of Spring Inn) and her four serving girls work with other rebels to intercept Lee Khan (Tien Feng), a high official of the Mongol emperor. Khan possesses the stolen battle plans of one of the leaders of the Chinese rebels.

Wan Jen-mi (Li Li-Hua) and the other rebels work to lull Lee Khan and his entourage into a false sense of security. Tsao Yu-kun (Roy Chieh), a spy who is posing as a member of Lee Khan's security team, does his best to pretend to be working for the Mongol side. When things get pushed to the limit an all out fight breaks out in which everyone at Spring Inn takes part.

Bad Choice Road

Saul and Mike return from the desert. Saul takes the cash to the detention facility and bails out Lalo. He doesn't mention Mike or the men who tried to kill him. He says that he got the money and then headed back but his car broke down about six or seven miles into the drive back. He walked back, across the desert. That's the story he tells Lalo.

Lalo accepts the story. Nacho picks up Lalo and they leave. Jimmy goes home to Kim. He doesn't tell her the full story. She finds his coffee mug which has a bullet hole in it. She says he's lying to her. He admits that he had to drink his own pee but he doesn't tell her about the men with guns or Mike. She doesn't tell him that she found the coffee mug.

Detective

Lana reveals that she was in a romantic relationship with Jonathan, Willis' brother. Lana pairs up with Green and checks the docks to look for the boat on which Lana and Johnathan used to hang. Willis pairs up with Turner and goes looking for Detective Carrey one of the detectives that Jonathan used to help out. No one seems to know what happened to him in the twelve years since Jonathan disappeared.

Both teams find what they are looking for but there are some bumps along the way. Lana and Green don't get along at first. Once Lana comes clean, and tells Green about her relationship with Jonathan, the two start to get along better.

The Birth of Nerv

There are a lot of flashbacks in this episode. Yui, Shunji's mother, makes her first appearance. Gendo, Shinji's father, plays a much bigger role in this episode than he has in many previous ones. Katsuragi appears in many flashbacks as everything from a young girl to a teenager to an adult. There is more talk of the discoveries made in Antarctica. Shinji only appears briefly. There is more evidence that Rei is a clone, possibly of Yui.

This episode moved too fast for me to follow everything. It has a very choppy pace.

June 17, Memories in the Rain

The Kurosaki family goes to visit the grave of Ichigo's mother on the anniversary of her death. Ichigo blames himself for her death. He was only 9 years old at the time.

Rukia tries asking him about what happened but he doesn't want to talk about it and walks off.

Rukia is approached by  Eikichirō Saidō, a soul reaper, who was sent to bring her back to the soul society. She doesn't recognize him. He tries to jog her memory without success.

Kon goes and gets Ichigo. Saidō is amused when Ichigo claims to be a substitute Shinigami. Ichigo takes the pill that is in Kon's mouth and swallows it. His Shinigami form separates from his body. Ichigo and Saidō fight. Ichigo finds that he is no match for Saidō.

The Mind of Evil - Part Four

The Master is forced to turn off the machine because it is affecting him and the men under his command. The Doctor recovers long enough to reveal that he knows that there is an alien inside the machine.

The Doctor passes out again and is taken to the cell where Jo is being kept. Jo talks one of the prisoners guarding them into getting Doctor Summers to take a look at the Doctor. Doctor Summers isn't able to do anything for him.

The Master has a talk with the creature in the machine. The creature attempts to harm him with a giant image of the Doctor. The Master is forced to leave the room or suffer a similar fate as those whom the machine has killed.
