Forbidden Fruit
Cha Se-gye confesses to Shin Seo-ri that he feels something for her. She does not reciprocate the feeling and asks him to leave. He walks out angrily. He is in a nasty mood the next day and takes it out on his employees including Son Jae-han. Cha Dai-su learns a little bit about Shin Seo-ri from Son Jae-han. Mun-do learns that Cha Dai-su has decided to name Cha Se-gye as his heir. Kang Dan-sim meets with the fortune teller and tells her of how she was sold to pay off her father's gambling debts.
Cha Se-gye chooses to fight fire with fire after someone posts a video online that make casts him and Biojei in a bad light. He takes some advice from Son Jae-han when it comes to dating and uses it to try to impress Shin Seo-ri. He reveals what he did and why he did it but she is not impressed. It gets her heart beating faster than normal but she doesn't want to reveal that fact to Se-gye.
Cha Se-gye has a couple encounters with Mo Tae-hee, a woman that Cha Dai-su wants him to date. First she spills coffee on him and then she crashes her car into his. She's a CEO but it isn't until after he has been rejected by Shin Seo-ri a couple times before he starts to think about going along with his grandfather's wish.
Shin Seo-ri hires Baek Gwang-nam to be her manager after she learns that she needs to fly to Jeju Island for a photo shoot for Biojei. Cha Se-gye is on the same flight to Jeju Island. He takes some medicine that his doctor prescribed to help him sleep. He doesn't know it but the medicine isn't exactly what his doctor prescribed. He falls unconscious and is revived in part thanks to Shin Seo-ri.
Thoughts
I'm not sure what the title of this episode means. I know the expression but I'm not sure how it applies here.
This story just gets crazier and crazier. I'm curious to see where things go with Mo Tae-hee. When will Shin Seo-ri figure out that trusting Mun-do is not a good idea. When will she tell Cha Se-gye about what Mun-do is trying to get her to do? Mun-do seems nothing but evil. Will ever be shown to have another side to his personality? Should I really be worried about any of these things? It is a rom-com after all. Presumably things will work out in the end. It is just a matter of what path they take to get there.
