Sam starts to have problems in school. He gets weirded out in class and runs out. Doug wants him to try a group therapy group for autistic teens. Elsa wants him to try a new therapist. Doug takes him to the group therapy instead of the therapist that Elsa signed him up for. Doug gets kind of familiar with the mother of one of the other teens in the group therapy.
Casey finally makes peace with Izzy. They wind up drinking together and then she goes over to see Evan. Previously she had told him that she didn't want to have sex again any time soon. Now she's drunk and wants it. Evan isn't cool with the idea of having sex while Casey is drunk. She passes out before anything can happen. He isn't sure what to do so he calls Elsa. Casey wakes up with her mother, in the home where she is staying unsure of how she got there.
Elsa and Doug continue to squabble. He still isn't ready to forgive her yet. Paige shows up briefly on two occasions. Sam decides that he wants to go to college. Elsa had other plans for him, after high school. Julia shows up briefly, in a therapy session with her (ex-)boyfriend. Zahid is absent from this one.
This was a decent episode. I'm curious to see where things go from here. Things seem to be getting better for Casey at her new school.
