Lionel follows Troy around for a day and part of the night. He's trying to write a piece for the school newspaper about his roommate, the president of the student body, even though Silvio, his editor, gave that assignment to another staffer, Brooke.
They play video games together before heading to the Griffin Day parade. They run into Reggie and Samantha (together), Kurt and Coco (not together) at the parade. Lionel overhears a conversation between Samantha and Reggie while Troy is talking to Coco.
Lionel and Reggie go to a bar afterwards. Lionel meets Troy's roommate from his freshman year and Professor Hobbs. They dance and then share a moment in the bathroom that turns out to be not quite Lionel thought it was going to be.
Thoughts
In their one moment alone it looks like Sam and Reggie don't agree about how to characterize their current relationship.
Brooke is by far the funniest part of the episode. Her dead pan delivery is killer.
This is a good episode but not exactly my favorite.
