Jack enters a pyramid in search of an artifact which will help him return to the past but he is not alone. There is another man in the labyrinth inside the pyramid who seeks the same artifact. The two men eventually meet. They argue. They are attacked by the guardians of the pyramid. They flee together. They escape but the artifact is destroyed.
Thoughts
This episode isn't a good way to end the season. This episode doesn't feel great like some of the others do. It doesn't even feel good. It pales in comparison to most episodes. There is no stunningly beautiful scenery. The music doesn't sound like anything special. There are two moments when Jack and the thief get into shouting matches. The fight scenes are nothing special. The guardians of the temple feel very standard. There is nothing clever about this episode. It didn't make me laugh or bring a tear to my eye.
