Sarah Cooper anchors the news. Everything is not fine but Sarah does her best to maintain a positive attitude through all sorts of new segments. She lip synchs to a number of recordings of Donald Trump. Her producer Scooter (Fred Armisen) is there to provide feedback and direct her from one segment to the next.
There are a lot of familiar faces in this comedy special. I would describe it as sketch comedy, not standup. I laughed at a number points.
Things get very weird in the last 10-15 minutes. There were awkward moments in that stretch when I wasn't sure if I was supposed to laugh or not but that's okay.
