Nice Face

Bruce's condition is getting worse. He wakes up and he's made a mess in the bed. He goes to take a shower. Ray sees the condition his brother is in. He reassures Bruce that it's ok.

Ray apologizes to Brittany for scaring her. He brings her over to his place to visit. She plays Jenga with Bruce and her grandfather, whom she has never me before. She doesn't know what to make of him. Everything seems okay until Ray discovers that his father is there. He sends Brittany into the house.

Ray goes to see Freddy who fires him. The events at his daughter's in-laws (last episode) was just a little too much for Freddy. He has to draw the line somewhere.

Ray goes for a hike with his dog. It is calm and peaceful but he gets ambushed by a couple of the bikers who hired him to kill Vinnie. He kills one outright with his gun but then has to take the other one on in hand-to-hand. Ray wins but at a big cost. Ray's left eye gets badly damaged. He looks around after the fight and sees his dog lying on the ground, dead.

Ray gets some help from Dave, who was last seen a couple episodes back, in finding Alex, the leader of the biker gang. They kidnap him and threaten to kill him. He cuts a deal with them. He's got about $650K buried. He will lead them to it if they will let him go. Ray is reluctant. He wants to kill Alex but ultimately they reach an agreement and leave to get the money.

Thoughts

Gary is not in this episode. 

I didn't find this episode as depressing as the last two. On the whole 

I was okay with this episode until Dave showed up. He knows that Ray killed Vinnie. He's seems to be okay with it. He owes Ray from the events at the end of Season 1 but still. I thought it was just a little too cut and dry at the end.

Maybe Dave is just as cold blooded as Ray. If that is the case then I think Ray needs to watch his back.

It felt like there were some scenes missing. I don't need to see everything between the end of the fight where Ray loses an eye to the scene where him and Dave kidnap Alex but I needed more than what I got.
