Thoughts
This is not a very good episode. It looks like it was made on a very tight budget based on the way it was shot. The characters are paper thin. It felt like all three of the leads were just reading their lines. I'm not sure how this episode could be made better but as is it does not work for me.
This episode is based on a story of the same name that was first published in Tales from the Crypt 22 (Feb-Mar 1951). The original story was written and drawn by Al Feldstein.
This is the first of three episodes of this show in which Miguel Ferrer appeared. I have seen him before in several movies and a few TV shows.
This is the only episode of this show in which Teri Hatcher appeared. I have seen her in a couple movies. I know her best from the TV show Lois and Clark, in which she played one of the leads, Lois Lane. She appeared in one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This is the only episode of this show in which Kyle Secor appeared. I have him in a couple movies. I know him best from Homicide: Life on the Streets.
This is the only episode of this show that Fred Dekker directed but it is the third of five that he wrote. The first episode he wrote was 1.02 All Through the House. He was a consulting producer on the first season of Star Trek: Enterprise and wrote three episodes from that season of that show including 1.07 The Andorian Incident.
