Galloping Foxley
starring John Mills, Anthony Steel
written by Robin Chapman
directed by Claude Whatham
William Perkins (John Mills) runs into a man (Anthony Steel) on his commute into work who reminds him of someone that terrorized him during his boarding school days. Perkins recalls, on the train ride into the office, how cruel Bruce 'Galloping' Foxley was to him. Perkins decides to speak up and say something. He tells everyone in the train compartment about Foxley's cruelty. The episode ends with Perkins discovering that the man isn't Foxley.
Perkins is supposed to be a few maybe a half dozen years younger than Foxley but Mills was a dozen years older than Steel who played the part of the man whom he believed to be Foxley.
This is the first episode from this season that I like. It isn't perfect or great but I like the arc of it.
