Sam is given an assignment in his philosophy which has a direct bearing on his relationship with Zahid. Sam fails to see the complexity of the situation. There is a FitBit missing from TechTropolis. Sam knows this because he is the one who performed the inventory.
Sam finds out by studying the security camera footage that Gretchen is the one who stole the FitBit. He tries to confront Zahid with the information but Zahid shrugs it off and tries to explain it away. Sam tries to understand why Zahid won't report the incident.
Casey is having trouble dealing with her feelings for Izzy. Casey tries to avoid Izzy. She tries spending more time with Evan. She's all out of sorts until Izzy finally confronts her and they start making out.
Doug buys two tickets to a Fleetwood Mac concert. Elsa finds them and assumes that he is going to take her. He isn't. The other ticket is for Megan. Elsa confronts Doug after he gets back from the concert. She can't deal with how things are going and she lets him know that.
Sam tries more than once to explain why he is acting irrationally. Zahid doesn't buy Sam's explanations. This create a big rift in their friendship.
Thoughts
Julia returns but Paige is not in this episode.
Damn good episode. I don't know about rankings but I really liked it, It didn't move me to tears but it had some powerful moments.
Will Doug and Else really separate? I dunno.
I'm curious to see where things go for Zahid. I still say that Gretchen is going to break his heart. He may be able to overlook the FitBit but something is going to happen that he won't be able to overlook.
I'm also curious to see where things go for Casey, stuck between Evan and Izzy. I'm less certain about how that will turn out.
