hard to believe, but still because of slavery
Drea says something to her father that gets him thinking which leads to him making comments about how Joya spends her time. This in turn sets Joya off and she talks to her lawyer and her publicist (Joya is getting ready to do press for a book she wrote) about why Kenya is acting the way he is. He winds up talking to his coworkers about the situation.
Thoughts
I don't know how to sum it up better than that. The crux of the episode seems to be that Kenya feels that Joya has changed or is changing and he doesn't like what he's seeing. The crux of the episode seems to be that she takes umbrage at him for not giving her the room to do what she wants without him commenting on her choices.
Their life has changed since Brooklyn, their last child was born three years ago. She is trying different things, he isn't cool with that. He isn't sure who she is anymore and that bothers him and he can't keep his feelings to himself.
There were some laughs in here but there were also some uncomfortable moments.
