i know this is going to sound crazy... but this, too, is because of slavery
Kenya and Joya take the family on vacation. They fight over where to go on vacation. They eventually settle on Fiji. Kenya decides that he needs to step up his game so he pays for a private jet to fly them there. Drea warns (the viewers) that all is not going to go well. Her prediction proves to be true.
Izzy and Kam pick on Pops. Joya lets Marquise, Chloe's boyfriend, come with them which drives Kenya nuts. Kenya has Danny keep an eye on Marquise. Drea is annoyed beacuse Chloe was always her best friend on family vacations and now she just wants to spend time with Marquise.
Kenya manages to hold it together until it becomes apparent that Joya has been keeping something from him. It has to do with her book deal. He can't keep his mouth shut and blows up in front of the whole family.
Thoughts
This episode was not unlike some others. It was funny until the wheels started to come off the bus. I got more than a couple chuckles out of it. It is amazing how despite the oppulent level of wealth that Kenya and Joya dislay their situation still seems relatable.
