She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 3.06

The Portal

Adora searches for a way to put an end to the destructive course of action Catra has set into motion. She goes to find Glimmer and Bo. They don't remember her at first. Glimmer is just a princess and Bo is a librarian. There is no Princess Alliance. King Micah is alive. Glimmer senses that something is wrong and breaks into the room where her parents have locked up Adora. They trust her and together they go to look for answers.

Adora, Glimmer, and Bow go to see Entrapta. Adora's words make sense to Entrapta. She remembers, just like Glimmer and Bow, once Adora jogs her memory. Entrapta disappears before she can give them any help but she does tell Adora that she is at the center of the problem because it is her sword that is powering the portal. She warns Adora that once she enters the portal to retrieve the sword she will be trapped there.

Adora, Glimmer, and Bow travel to the Beacon. Mara is there but quickly disappears. Glimmer and Bow disappear next. Catra appears and Adora fights with her. Catra eventually disappears. Queen Angella shows up. She thanks Adora for all she has done and then sacrifices herself by flying up into the portal. She dislodges the sword but she is then trapped there.

Adora transforms into She-Ra and destroys the portal. Everything goes back to normal. She-Ra destroys the machinery that powers the portal. Catra and Hordak escape. Etheria is no longer in a pocket universe. The stars are back. Hordak Prime knows where Etheria is.

Thoughts

This feels good but it also feels like a bit tease for the next season. There's a lot here but it isn't abundantly clear what comes next. What's clear is that Hordak Prime is about to enter the picture but how does that change things? What will Catra and Hordak do now? Will Entrapta continue to be friends with Hordak? Will Scorpia continue to be friends with Catra?

Where was Huntara during the past couple episodes? Will she return? I hope so but I don't know if she will get a significant role.

If anyone other than Adora got a spotlight here it is Queen Angella. Will she ever return or is she gone forever? I think she will return but probably not until near the end of season five and it probably won't be permanent. 

I'm starting to get tired of Catra. She lacks depth. She seems very one note. She wants to destroy. Hordak seems more fleshed out than Catra does at the moment. I really hope that they do more with Catra in season four than just have her continue to be crazy.
