Replay
Static tangles with Johnny Morrow, a former child TV star who is still angry that Johnny on the Spot, his show, got canceled. Johnny has metahuman powers and he uses them to rob the Dakota Mall. Virgil, Richie, and Daisy happen to be there while it is happening. Virgil fakes indigestion and then runs into the men's room and changes.
Static quickly finds out about Johnny Morrow aka Replay's special ability. He can make duplicates of himself. Replay and Static fight and somewhere in the midst of it all Replay accidentally creates a duplicate of Static. Replay escapes with the clone of Static and proceeds to get the Static clone to commit robberies all over town. Everyone, even Richie, thinks that Static is to blame.
Static is on his own. He has to run from the police who try to capture him. Richie winds up helping Static despite not being fully convinced that he isn't the one committing the robberies.
Static catches up to Replay and the Static clone in the DKT-TV studio. Richie turns the camera on Static, clone Static, and Replay while they are fighting. The police see the broadcast and learn that Replay is really the one to blame. Static deals with the Static clone and the police arrest Johnny Morrow.
Thoughts
This is third and final episode of Static Shock included with the DVD Set of Season Two of Young Justice that I own.
Neil Patrick Harris plays the part of Johnny Morrow/Replay. Dennis Haysbert plays the part of the chief of police. Andrea Romano was the voice director for this episode.
The animation in this episode was much better than in the other two I just watched. Still not great but this episode was a big improvement over the other two.
