Chance Meeting
The fight continues with the Crimson Hawksmoth. Tsumugi fights the Crimson Hawksmoth while Tanikaze goes to find Izana and the other survivor of the reconnaissance mission. He gets to them just as they are attacked by several gauna. He gets them on board his garde and then deals with the gauna.
Tsumugi continues to fight the Crimson Hawksmoth alone. Tsumugi seems to get the upper hand and is about to destroy it when the Crimson Hawksmoth turns the tables. It is ready to destroy Tsumugi when Tanikaze shows up. The episode ends with the tendrils of the Crimson Hawksmoth worming their way into the cockpit of the Garde.
I'm not sure what to make of the title of this episode.
This one was all action and most of it took place in space. There are some scenes that take place back on Sidonia but they are all of the command center as Yuhata talk to Tsumugi and Tanikaze.
I would think that communication over such a vast distance and under such adverse conditions would be more difficult than they make it seem.
The animation is beautiful but I'm not taken by this part of the story. It feels like they are stretching out the battle a little longer than necessary.
