Say Yes
Bash needs to find a replacement for Keith who isn't there to ref because he isn't sure about his relationship with Cherry. Bash finds a bunch of other performers and makes Debbie deal with them. She gets on Cherry's bad side when she hires a magician. Cherry is supposed to be some sort of a magician or maybe its a witch doctor. Eventually Debbie and Cherry straighten things out over a joint.
Russell comes to Vegas to visit Ruth but things don't go great at first. They can't see eye to eye and don't communicate very well until the wheels almost come off their relationship.
Sam isn't happy to see Ruth and Russell together. He's working on his screenplay which has a father-daughter situation that sounds something like what he and Justine have. He shows the screenplay to Sheila. She ticks him off when she offers some feedback that isn't just glowing praise.
The group, plus Russell but minus Sam and Bash, goes to see a drag show. Rhonda tries to get Bash interested in hiring Bobby Barnes, the drag performer. Bash goes to see the show but says no to hiring the drag performer, this is after he shows interest in hiring just about every other performer with whom he comes into contact.
Thoughts
Sam's screenplay is the closest that the show has come to including Justine in one of the stories. Britt Baron, who plays Justine, is credited as being in every episode so far but has yet to make an appearance.
There are a number of other members of the regular cast who don't have many if any lines. One thing this show is missing is actual wrestling and plots that revolve around wrestling. There has been little to none of that this season.
I don't think that this was meant to be a fun episode. I didn't love it but I can see it doing things. Will those things help to paint the larger picture to my satisfaction? I think that it's a little early to answer that question. I like this episode but it didn't impress me in a big way.
